From a Single Hour of Advice on the Basics of Can-Spam Law to Monthly Retainer Fees: My Service is Flexible enough to Accomodate Individuals Or Large-Scale Commercial Operations

Essentially, I'm a network software programmer as well as being an attorney.

I've worked in China in 1997 for a 14 person commercial transactions firm, however most of my experience is in civil litigation. I am interested in taking on co-counsel or assistant attorney arrangments in criminal laws in the future if they present the opportunity to use my knowledge of network protocols and the way in which software and computers record, store and transmit that data.

Languages and overseas living and travel is a large part of my history. Originally obtaining my BA in Mandarin Chinese from the University of Washington, I later learned to read Russian in my spare time. In 2004 I even lived and worked for a joint Russian/American law school in Moscow; in the end living in that city for almost five months. Travel to Brazil and Portuguese has led me to learn and make contacts with some of that country's people and it's opportunities in internet business/software/process outsourcing.

My nearly 13 years of law practice is easy enough to understand (as I've obviously got a JD degree and had to pass the bar), but the fact of how it I could be so proficient in another complex area of knowledge may not. But it's not mysterious when you consider that as a child growing up here in Seattle, I had programmed various and complex computer games (for example a version of the old 1980's "centipede" game and others) by the age of 11 and 12 years old. Many peers and young classmates we're doing that also because it was fun and curious; and computer science is a uniquely interesting field of the natural sciences in that you aren't studying the "natural" world so much as a logic system and machine created by a human(s). Unlike with legal knowledge and ability, computer programming is something that can be absolutely proven, shown, demonstrated, and verified. I love to speak with anyone about my programming, applications, networks, the law surrounding those too. I offer large law firm quality and depth of knowledge, with the personal touch and client availability of a solo-attorney law firm. (Yet after almost 13 years experience I naturally have many other attorneys from whose knowledge and experience I can, and regularly do, draw from.) I welcome your enquiries and questions on both and mainly the way these two intellectual disciplines become so prevalent and puzzling in their interconnectedness.
